Last Saturday, after the Sonisphere Festival in Stockholm, Sweden, HammerFall got on stage at Pub Anchor and shot off a couple of songs. You can find them in the Photos section.

In the beginning of September, HammerFall will return to Russia as well as perform in the Ukraine for the very first time:

September 3 - Global East 2010 - Kiev, Ukraine
September 4 - Club Tochka - Moscow, Russia

The last - and only - time HammerFall has visited any part of the former Sovjet Union was in 2007. Fredrik speaks: "That was one of the first shows I did as a returning member of the band, and it was wild! The audience was absolutely crazy and gave us an incredible reception, and I hope they are even crazier this time!"

This weekend, the Sonisphere festival hits Stockholm. Headlined by Iron Maiden and Mötley Crüe, supported by Alice Cooper, Slayer, HammerFall, Iggy & the Stooges, Anthrax and others, this is a metalfest like no other! The official HammerFall afterparty will be held at Pub Anchor, if you miss it you will regret it!

Not many festivals left on the schedule now, so if you missed HammerFall live and can't go to any of the remaining ones, you have to wait until next year. But fret not, there will be a new HF studio album out in May 2011! Check back here for more updates on this as the song writing progresses.

The picture and sound quality leaves a lot to be desired, but the audience frenzy is what's on display here. The video captures the energy and excitement in Nürnberg perfectly, and it was a magical night indeed!

The already insane line-up for Sonisphere Stockholm just got a little more insanity added to it, in the form of HammerFall. The already sold out, one day festival will take place on August 7th, and feature bands such as Iron Maiden, Mötley Crüe, Alice Cooper and Slayer. Unbelievable? You better believe it!

Ronnie James Dio is dead. Tragic and sad, we all mourn the loss of one of heavy metals original legends, unbelievable voices and all-around nice guys. No one has anything but good things to say about this man, and for once, it's all true. HammerFall remembers Ronnie as the Man, as simple as that. Farewell, Ronnie James God.
